LaQuandra Fair is the new owner of "LaFairs Fresh Bites," a start-up farm-to-table inspired catering company out of Englewood, Chicago with everything from delicious salad dressings to radish sandwiches and "quickles" - quick-pickled vegetables.

What brings her joy and inspiration in her cooking? As she shares, "I use vegetables that culturally I grew up eating and cooking, but now I have several healthier ways to prepare them. I love giving samples of meatless meals and having customers buy the ingredients and prepare the same meal."

LaQuandra has a long history of community service and empowering others. After serving her country for six years in the Marine Corps, Fair followed her passion for serving others as the current Community Engagement Coordinator of the nonprofit urban farm Growing Home in Englewood, Chicago. She's always loved to eat good food, and more recently, her passion for cooking has grown alongside that. She shares, "It's very fulfilling to share my love for cooking and recipes with the community."
